On an average, there are more than 6 million car accidents annually. Most of them are extremely brutal, and result in the death of many innocent people. But the one statistic that keeps popping up in these investigations is that 4.7 million of those involve couples and 2.4 million of them involve pregnant women.
Most of the pregnant women who are included in these accidents don’t usually die; in fact a large proportion of them survive but their unborn babies always end up dying from the accident in a miscarriage later at the hospital.
There’s one statistic that carries over through every woman’s questioning. That’s the fact that every single woman-when asked about the accident by the police-each make just about the same statement:
"It just came out of nowhere on the road, and we had no time to stop. I couldn’t really get a good look at it, but it appeared to be a large white bird."
